Indie Craft Parade was everything we had hoped for — and then so much more. For this two-day event, we had around 4,000 attendees come through. (Yes, four THOUSAND!) In spite of the short bursts of time Andrew and I had to shop, we came away with some pretty fabulous finds!
Here they are, clockwise from top:
Sweeteeth chocolate bars / rings: vintage button ring — hawleywood & flower ring — 17 Dove Street / beautifully detailed fiber art — Bess Whittington / photo print — Marco Suarez / tea towel — Pony & Poppy / cuffs: mine — Ashley Buchanan & his — Tocadora Leather / original painting — Annie Koelle / poster — The Half and Half / kumquat soap — Daisycakes Soap / fabric pin — Happy Looks.
Not shown: Dragon print from Cory Godbey, my new reversible apron from Going Home to Roost, a mug (already in use) from Ben Kammer, and a loaf of homemade chocolate bread from Katie Gerdt, which was devoured upon coming home Friday night.
I was excited to be able to buy so many wonderful handmade goods all in one place. Although we were busy enough that I really don’t feel like I got to see everything! I keep seeing photos of vendors whose booths I meant to buy things from, and just never made it to. And all those Christmas gifts I was planning to buy didn’t exactly get purchased. But that just means I need to buy more handmade goods very soon, and that’s fine with me!
