This time of year, it’s hard to keep my head above water some days. Super exciting things are happening for Indie Craft Parade, workdays are full to the brim, and on top of it all, we’re trying to buy a house and stay healthy. Sometimes it seems impossible to keep my mind going in one direction for very long!
On Saturday, a group of coworkers and I ran and walked a 5K together. I’ve just started running in the last few weeks and there were times both getting ready for and during the race when my feet were barely coming off the ground. I had to remind myself to just keep moving.
Seems like a pretty great metaphor for life lately. Just keep pushing forward, head down, marking items off the list one at a time and everything will get done somehow. It always does. And if the race was any indication, there’s nothing like the feeling of accomplishing something that seemed impossible.
On a related note, I’m super excited about everything that’s in the works for Indie Craft Parade! Workshops, awesome sponsors, and a fun updated look for the promotional pieces. I haven’t said much about the event on my blog this year so if you want to know more about it or about the artists who will be there, you’ll want to check out the Indie Craft Parade blog!
